It functions as:

The Action connector allows fast snap-on mounting for action cameras (GoPro, DJI Action, Insta360, etc.). With the press-to-release mechanism, you can remove the camera quickly when needed. The 360° ball head gives freedom to swivel and tilt your angle.
A built-in Velcro strap system enables attaching the unit to bag straps or rails securely (supports 6–8 cm strap width, ≥1 cm thickness) without buttons — just pull down to lock, lift to release.
Despite its compact size, the MT66 extends to reasonable heights:
